Activities |
Extra curricular activities are the medium for the integral developments of the students. Keeping this in mind we conducted various activities like handwriting competitions, poem recitations, calligraphy competition, Clay Modelling Competition, Fancy Dress, Essay Writing, Story writing, Food without fire, Rangoli Competition, Science model etc. A few of our students participated in various activities and campaigns at the district and state level. Our students have done well in these and some of they were champions at the state level. We are glad to inform you that two of our students represented Bihar in National Football Tournament. We are global citizens of a global world. In order to foster this idea, we had a special programme for a few students of our school in which they were able to interact with students from six other Jesuit Schools from around the world. It was arranged by Educatemagis, the network platform for Jesuits Schools. |
Our Theme | All the Jesuit schools in the province have a common theme for all the activities in the school. The theme for the year was OUR CONSTITUTION: OUR HERITAGE. All the programmes and the activities in the school were based on this theme. The purpose was to create a sense of pride fort the constitution and to evoke feelings of unity and integrity. It was a successful attempt and the same will continue in the coming years as well. |
Olympiad Tests | The students need opportunities to express their learning to various situations and also understand their knowledge in the context of the situation. The school conducted IMO, Iso, ICO, IEO, etc for the benefit of the students. |
ASSET Exam | It is important that our students understand the concepts that are discussed in the classrooms and should be able to apply the same in their daily lives. In order to foster this, the school has decided to conduct ASSET examinations for the students of classes 3 to 9. This will give the participating students a personalised evaluation of their performances. |
Digital Library |
The construction work for the spacious library is completed and is available for the use of the students. We are in the process of digitalising the library completely so that our students have easy access to the books and periodicals in the library. The purpose of doing this is to encourage our students to develop the habit of reading which is slowly reducing among our students. This will be available to the students by the end of the coming year. Let me take this opportunity to thank each one of you, our parents and well wishers for your constant support, encouragement and suggestions and assuring support during difficult times. The school is on progressive graph and you being with us will ensure that the school reaches greater heights in the days to come. Together with you, we shall achieve great goals. Thank you very much. |
